Mt. Pulaski Rallies Past Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond

The Mt. Pulaski boy's baseball team needed a late rally to get by Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond Tuesday afternoon as the Hilltoppers scored all six runs in the final three frames to propel them to a 6-3 win in non-conference high school boy's baseball action Tuesday afternoon in Mt. Pulaski.

 

The Knights put a 3-spot on the board right off the bat in the first inning against Jackson Fricke but AJ Bailey come on in relief in the second inning and closed the door with six shutout innings. 

 

Landon Smith paced the Hilltoppers offense going 3-for-4 wtih a pair of RBIs and a double. Frick doubled and drove in a run finishing 2-for-4. 

 

Lucas Kuhlman and Bailey each had RBIs for the Hilltoppers. 

 

The Hilltoppers are 6-0 on the season.
