Landon Smith homered and led another Mt. Pulaski offensive outburst as the Hilltoppers clobbered Cerro Gordo-Bement 17-0 in non-conference high school boy's baseball action Tuesday afternoon.

Clayton Aylesworth drove in four to lead the Mt. Pulaski offense and Smith drove in three. Gavin Smith and Lucas Kuhlman each drove in two. 

Seven Hilltoppers batters scored two runs as they took advantage of ten Broncos walks. 

AJ Bailey threw three scoreless innings to start for Mt. Pulaski walking none and striking out five with one hit allowed. Colt Selinger finished the game out with a scoreless inning of relief. 

After a brief two-game skid, the Hilltoppers have rebounded and won two in a row to move to 8-2 overall. They will host Argenta-Oreana this afternoon in more non-conference action.
