The Clinton Maroons kicked off back-to-back games on Friday with a 4-2 win over Central A&M but were blanked 6-0 by Meridian on Saturday.
Mason Walker threw a complete game Friday afternoon allowing two unearned runs with nine strikeouts and walking six. He permitted three hits in his second win of the season.
Brooks Cluver finished 2-for-2 for Clinton, Dominik Thater doubled and drove in four.
In the Saturday morning matchup with Meridian, Alex Boehm went the distance in a complete-game shutout.
Thayer went three innings allowing two runs, one was earned on four hits with six strikeouts and zero walks. Josh Carter finished the final four innings of four-run ball, three were earned. He walked three without a strikeout and permitted five hits.
Walker went 2-for-3 for Clinton Saturday.
