Liam Smith struck out 13 across seven innings of one-run ball going the distance for the Hilltoppers. His one run was unearned and permitted three hits and issued five walks.
Logan Smith finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs, a run scored and walked twice. Jackson Fricke doubled in a run for Mt. Pulaski while Gavin Smith and Evan Cooper each drove in runs.
The Hilltoppers improve to 14-3 overall and continue a busy week when they travel to Hartsburg to take on Hart-Em in Tomahawk Conference action today.
