The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers used a 16-run second inning to blast Hartsburg-Emden 26-3 in Tomahawk Conference high school boy's baseball action Tuesday afternoon in Hartsburg.

AJ Bailey and Jackson Fricke drove in five runs apiece. Fricke went yard twice and Bailey blasted a home run. Bailey added a double. Clayton Aylesworth, Logan Smith and Evan Cooper added doubles for the Hilltoppers. 

Every Mt. Pulaski batter reached base Tuesday. Liam Smith, Copper, Lucas Kuhlman, and Kolin Gibbs drove in two runs apiece. 

Prescott Davis, Blake Martin, Drew McAfee, Jace Whitted and Will Wright had base hits for the Stags. McAfee and Whitted had RBIs.

Hart-Em drops to 0-10 overall. 

Mt. Pulaski moves to 15-3 overall and 3-2 in the Tomahawk. After an off-day Wednesday, they travel to LeRoy tomorrow afternoon.
