Mt. Pulaski Gets By Athens

Evan Cooper struck out ten as he went the distance for Mt. Pulaski who got by Athens 4-1 in Tomahawk Conference high school boy's baseabll action Wednesday afternoon in Mt. Pulaski.

 

 Cooper allowed seven hits and did not issue a walk. 

 

Jackson Fricke, Clayton Aylesworth, and Gavin Smith drove in runs for the Hilltoppers and Landon Smith scored two runs. 

 

The Hilltoppers as a team drew six walks and struck out only four times. 

 

Mt. Pulaski is 18-3 overall and moves to 4-2 in the Tomahawk.

 

The Hilltoppers are scheduled to host Bloomington Cornerstone Christian Academy this afternoon with a home, non-conference game scheduled tomorrow afternoon with Fisher.
