The Clinton Lady Maroons could only muster six baserunners against Tuscola's Keri Pierce and fell 10-0 in Central Illinois Conference high school girl's softball action Thursday from Clinton High School. 

Pierce struck out five over seven scoreless innings and issued a walk while permitting five hits.

The Lady Warriors committed an error and Ashley Armstrong was hit by a pitch. 

Armstrong, Chloe Griffin, and Heidi Humble recorded hits for the Lady Maroons. 

Clinton falls to 3-18 overall and 2-11 in the CIC. They wrap up regular season play this afternoon at Meridian.
