After picking up a Regional title Saturday morning over GCMS, the Monticello Sages boy's baseball team will battle Eureka this afternoon at Milliking University in Decatur.
The Sages used a run of 11-unanswered runs to roll past the Falcons on a soggy Saturday morning.
Eureka toppled El Paso-Gridley Monday to advance to the Sectional title. Eureka's Regional championship game was postponed to Monday due to weather.
The Sages enter action 21-8 overall while Eureka is 25-4 and ran the table to win the Heart of Illinois Conference this year finishing 11-0.
The winner battles St. Joseph-Ogden Saturday. The Spartans beat Pontiac 4-3 Wednesday.
