While it wasn't the result they wanted to start the season, there are a lot of positive things to take away in week one for the Clinton Maroons football squad with a week two matchup at Argenta-Oreana up next in non-conference high school boy's football action.
Lincoln shut out the Maroons 28-0 but second-year coach Ron Bass says there were a lot of positive things to take away. For Clinton, there was a lot to improve on coming out of the defeat.
Coach Bass felt like his linebackers played well, getting several tackles for loss. The Maroons need to get healthier in the secondary.
