Latest High School Football State Rankings

The top of the latest high school football state rankings saw very little change at the top.

 

In Class 1A, Lena-Winslow remained the top team followed by Athens, Central A&M, and Ridgeview. Camp Point Central moved up a spot to round out the top five.

 

Tuscola jumped a spot to no. 7 in 1A, while Hope Academy and Iriquois West traded spots at 9&10, respectively. 

 

In Class 2A, Wilmington remained no. 1 followed by Decatur St. Teresa, Tri-Valley, Maroa-Forsyth, and Bismarck-Henning round out the top five. 

 

North-Mac, Rockridge, and Pana enter this week's poll at 8-10.

 

In Class 3A, Tolono Unity re-enters this week's poll at no. 10. Prairie Central stayed put at no. 7 with IC Catholic retaining the top spot and Williamsville at no. 2. 

 

Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin is this week's no. 1 team by one point after coming for a tie for first with Joliet Catholic, this week's no. 2 team. Rochester stayed at no. 5 this week. Peoria Notre Dame fell out of the poll this week while Mt. Zion received votes this week, though did not make the top 10.

 

Mahomet-Seymour has dropped a spot to no. 4 this week, despite receiving two first-place votes in the Class 5A poll. LaGrange Park Nazareth is this week's no. 1 team in 5A. Peoria stayed at no. 6 in Class 5A. 

 

East St. Louis is the unanimous no. 1 team in 6a this week. Chatham-Glenwood stayed at no. 7. Normal West received votes this week though did not crack the top 10.

 

In Class 7A, Pekin stayed at no. 9 this week with Chicago Mt. Carmel the unanimous top team in 7A.

 

Loyola Academy is this week's no. 1 team in 8A.
