As the Central Illinois Conference slate opens for Clinton entering week three of the high school football season, the Maroons are looking for a statement win tonight when they travel to Shelbyville.
The Rams pose a good challenge for the Maroons with a good quarterback, a good wide receiver and show a lot of formations. Coach Ron Bass is hoping for more sustained ball movement this week.
Heading into week three, Coach Bass says his team is starting to get healthier with some key pieces of their team coming back this week.
Kickoff tonight is 7 pm from Shelbyville. The Rams enter play 2-0 with wins over Toledo-Cumberland and Bridgeport-Red Hill. Hear all the action on The Big 1520 AM/92.3 FM/106.5 FM WHOW and at the many WHOW digital platforms.
