In a game heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fell to the Shelbyville Rams 40-8 on Friday night. Quarterback Mason Walker was 3 of 15 passing for 34 yards and 2 interceptions. Walker had 21 carries for 135 yards. Tristin Potts had 7 carries for 26 yards. ServPro Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of the Game Isaiah Reynolds had 2 catches for 32 yards and a touchdown.
Brody Boehm was 6 of 11 passing for 89 yards with 2 touchdowns for the Rams. He had 10 catches for 69 yards and a touchdown as well. Will Fox had 10 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown.
With the loss, the Maroons fall to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the CIC. Shelbyville improves to 3-0 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.
