After falling behind 13-0 in Illini Prairie Conference play at Bloomington Central Catholic Friday night, the Monticello Sages rebounded to score 14 unanswered points before the half, but things fell apart in the second half as the Siants imposed their will to run away with at 42-28 win.

Coach Cully Welter was pleased with the effort that led to the comeback in the first half but was disappointed after BCC started to take the game over on the ground in the fourth quarter.

Coach Welter did not waste time laying out the challenge to his team. After the game in the post-game huddle, he challenged everyone to get better.
