A beat up Monticello Sages football team will look to overcome the injury bug which biting pretty hard in the fall of 2023 when they host Pontiac tonight for Homecoming.

A frustrating end led to Bloomington Central Catholic powering past the Sages 42-28 in week four in Bloomington. The Saints turned to a power run game led by junior quarterback Colin Hayes. Monticello Coach Cully Welter was frustrated with his team's tackling late in that game.

Pontiac will bring very good size and a balanced approach into tonight's contest at Monticello. Coach Welter says defensively, the Indians keep you guessing.
