Maroons Delivered Tough News Entering Week Five Matchup Against Decatur St. Teresa

The Clinton Maroons will have to find a way through the remainder of the football season after learning this week junior quarterback Mason Walker will miss the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury.

Coach Ron Bass says it happened in the second quarter of the team's 13-6 loss to Central A&M Friday night during the Homecoming game. While he credits Walker's toughness, it certainly leaves the team in a tough spot.

Looking back on the team's performance in week 4, Coach Bass says it's the little things that are showing up on film. He says it's still a work in progress to get the kids to understand it's the little things done right that make a program successful.

Coach Bass told his team to cherish the opportunity to play an athletic team like Decatur St. Teresa this Friday night at Clinton High School when the Bulldogs visit for a 7 pm kickoff.
