With a crucial stretch for the final third of the high school football season ahead, the Monticello Sages are not looking past a struggling Rantoul team tonight on the road in Illini Prairie Conference high school football action.
Monticello rolled Pontiact 45-0 last week at Homecoming in Monticello. The Sages enter play 3-2 overall with three state-ranked teams coming up after tonight's week six matchup against a winless Rantoul squad.
Rantoul lost 65-6 to Paxton-Buckley-Loda. Rantoul has struggled to score offensively and has allowed 40 or more points in each of its losses.
