Clinton Wins on Senior Night

As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons produced a 14-6 senior night win over the Meridian Hawks Friday night. Quarterback Colton Walker went 3 of 5 for 22 yards. He had 5 carries for 11 yards and a touchdown. Tristin Potts had 26 carries for 137 yards and a touchdown. Dawson Graves had 10 carries for 64 yards. The ServPro Maroons Player of the Game was Houston Stapleton for his work as a senior and as an offensive and defensive lineman.

 

Meridian quarterback Roy Ralston was 6 of 15 passing for 48 yards and an interception. He also had 11 carries for 39 yards.

 

With back-to-back wins, Clinton improves to 3-5 on the season and 2-4 in the Central Illinois Conference. Meridian falls to 1-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference.
