With cross country postseason this weekend, the Monticello Sages cross-country programs are ready to roll.

The Illini Prairie Conference meet was a few weeks ago now but Coach Dave Remmert says it has been all about preparing the kids for the faster runs of the postseason. 

The Lady Sages team is highlighted by Mabry Bruhn, whom Remmert calls the most talented runner he's ever coached. Bruhn was expected to have a great season coming in and she says her season has been excellent so far.

Bruhn and the Lady Sages head to Regional on Saturday in Shelbyville where they will be competing with 15 other teams including Argenta-Oreana, Clinton, Tolono Unity and Tuscola.
