As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons defeated the Sullivan-Okaw Valley Redskins by a score of 28-20 on Friday night. Quarterback Colton Walker was 4 of 11 passing for 71 yards. He also had 9 carries for 19 yards and a touchdown. Tristin Potts had 34 carries for 124 yards and 3 catches for 42 yards. Dawson Graves got the nod for ServPro Player of the Game having 7 catches for 72 yards and 1 catch for 42 yards. He also set up a touchdown with a 70 yards kickoff return.
The Redskins were led by Kyle Corkill with 9 carries for 83 yards. Aiden Ballinger had 8 catches for 51 yards.
With the win, the Maroons wrap up their season 4-5 and 3-4 in the Central Illinois Conference. Sullivan falls to 4-5 overall and 2-5 in the season.
