Mt. Zion Takes New Look Offense Into 4A Postseason

Thanks to an influx of unique young talent, the Mt. Zion Braves used a new style of offense to go 6-3 in the regular season and qualify for the postseason again in 2022.

Coach Patrick Etherton indicates his team had an infusion of young talent that allowed them to blend an organic and planned transition in offensive philosophy this fall away from his traditional power run.

With a young group this year, Coach Etherton says the extra practices the postseason allows is going to be very beneficial for his team.

The Braves drew a 12-seed in the 4A playoffs and will travel to take on 7-2 Breese Central Saturday at 1 pm.
