High Powered Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs Enter Playoffs With Bullseye on Backs

The Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs may have surprised some people in reaching the Class 5A postseason quarterfinals last season, but they are not flying under the radar this year.

Coach Jon Adkins knows it and so does his team. That's why as they enter as the top seed in the south bracket, he says they are looking at it as a whole new season.

Coach Adkins believes it is the balance his offense has that makes them very tough to defeat. But additionally, he isn't leaving out his defense, which did not allow more than two touchdowns in a game until week nine.

The top-seeded and undefeated Bulldogs will host 5-4 Ottawa at 7 pm on Friday night.
