Consistency is Key as Tri-Valley Enters 2A Playoffs

The Tri-Valley Vikings making the playoffs is about as much as lock as the leaves changing colors in the fall.

So when it comes to October, that's when Coach Josh Roop wants his team peaking. He believes if you're always improving throughout the year, you'll be playing good football going into the playoffs.

Part of the success of Tri-Valley football over the years is the extra reps the practices of the postseason offers for younger players. Coach Roop points out though, it also gives them a taste of the playoff atmosphere.

Coach Roop believes his teams needs to control the line of scrimmage and take care of the football on offense.

The 7-2 Vikings will host 6-3 Clifrton Central at 2 pm on Saturday afternoon.
