It would be quite an upset if the 12th-seeded Monticello Sages could knock off perennial power Mt. Carmel Saturday afternoon.

To do so, Coach Cully Welter says his team is going to have to contain a high-powered offense that features a second-year starting junior quarterback and a power run game.

The Sages enter action Saturday afternoon on a 2-game slide. Coach Welter says as the season has gone on, he's seen a lot of progress from his team  and particularly in practice and understanding roles of each individual.
