Clinton High School Boy's, Girl's Basketball Teams Begin Busy Week

The Clinton Maroons varsity boy's basketball team went 3-1 at this past week's Mt. Pulaski Thanksgiving tournament and embark on a busy week this week.

Things open tomorrow night when Clinton visits Olympia, who is 0-1 on the season.

The Maroons continue it's long stretch away from home Friday night when they make the short trip up Highway 51 to visit Maroa-Forsyth.

Finally, the Maroons play its home opener Saturday evening hosting Heyworth at 6:30 pm.

Looking ahead to next week, the Maroons will look to avenge a Regional loss this past February when they host Riverton at Clinton High School next Tuesday.

The 1-4 Lady Maroons will look to right the ship starting tonight when they host the 4-0 Tolono Unity Lady Rockets.  Game time tonight is 7 pm. Hear the action on The Big 1520 AM/92.3 FM/106.5 FM WHOW and on its many digital platforms.

The Lady Maroons open the Central Illinois Conference slate Thursday night hosting Sullivan.
