Four players scored in double figures as Maroa-Forsyth opened the Macon County tournament with at 61-50 victory over Meridian from Warrensburg-Latham High School Tuesday night in high school boy's basketball action.

Mitch Williams led the attack with 16 points. Breyton Mitchell added 11 points while Kaiden Maurer and Grant Smith added 10 points apiece. 

Zayn Giles scored eight for the Trojans.

Britt Brown scored 16 points for the Hawks and Ray Rahlston scored 11.

The Trojans resume tourney action Thursday night.
