The Clinton Lady Maroons made quick work of the Argenta-Oreana Lady Bombers 62-15 in non-conference high school girl's basketball action from Clinton High School Thusday night.

The Lady Maroons led 21-2 after the first quarter, stretching the lead to 42-7 at the half and shut out the Lady Bombers to open up a 56-7 lead after three.

Heidi Humble led all scorers with 17 points. Clara Dempsey added 14 points for Clinton as each player that logged minutes scored.

Clinton improves to 7-6 overall. The Lady Maroons play their final game before the Christmas holiday Monday at El Paso-Gridley. Then it's off to the Monticello Holiday Hoopla Dec. 26-28.
