Decatur LSA Takes Down Maroa-Forsyth at Decatur St. Teresa Holiday Tournament

Decature LSA jumped ahead early and held off Maroa-Forsyth in a 49-40 win at the Decatur St. Teresa Holiday Tournament Wednesday night.

 

Sebastian Hill helped set the tone for the LSA early, scoring ten of his game-high 19 points in the first quarter as the Lions led 19-10 after the first.

 

The Trojans mounted a comeback in the third, trailing 37-32 after three quarters but could not finish the comeback. 

 

Jamerr Campbell scored 10 points for LSA.

 

The Trojans were led by Kaiden Maurer's 12 points. 

 

Decatur LSA is undefeated at 13-0 overall. 

 

The Trojans fall to 5-8 overall. They will continue tournament action tonight taking on Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond at 6 pm.
