HS BBBall: Maroa-Forsyth Rolls Sullivan

Three players scored in double figures and the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans used a big second quarter to roll Sullivan 56-32 in non-conference high school boy's basketball action from Sullivan Tuesday night.

 

The Redskins jumped out to a quick 17-13 lead after the first quarter but the Trojans went to work on defense and held Suullivan to 15 points the rest of the way, including a 20-3 second quarter, to open up a 33-20 halftime lead and stretched to 45-27 after three quarters.

 

Kaiden Maurer led a balanced scoring attack for Maroa-Forsyth with 14 points. Mitch Williams added 13 points and Grant Smith chipped in with ten points. 

 

The Trojans go to 7-8 overall. They host Tolono Unity Friday night.
