Balanced Attack Paces Blue Ridge Past Toledo-Cumberland

The Blue Ridge Knights used a balanced scoring attack to get by Toledo-Cumberland 55-50 in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school boys' basketball action from Blue Ridge High School Friday night.

 

Colin Michaels paced three Knights in double figures with 17 points. 

 

Zach Lewis added 14 points and Isaac Price scored 12.

 

Blue Ridge overcame a slow start to rally to a lead in the second quarter and held Toledo-Cumberland at bay the rest of the way.

 

The Knights go to 6-9 overall. They will battle Peoria Heights in the Clinton New Year's Shootout Saturday at Clinton High School.
