HS GBBall: Mt. Pulaski Rolls Clinton

The Mt. Pulaski Lady Hilltoppers used a fast start to roll Clinton 60-44 in non-conference high school girl's basketball action Monday night from Mt. Pulaski High School.

 

The Lady Hilltoppers jumped out to a 14-5 lead after the first quarter and increased that advantage to 32-18 at the break. The Lady Hilltoppers gradually pulled away from there.

 

Clinton was led by Reagan Filkin's 13 points. Clara Dempsey added 11 points.

 

Clinton falls 11-12 overall while Mt. Pulaski moves to 17-6. 

 

The Lady Maroons have home games Wednesday and Thursday opposite Maroa-Forsyth and Warrensburg-Latham, respectively, before heading to the Central Illinois Conference tournament starting Saturday Warrensburg-Latham High School.
