HS GBBall: St. Joseph-Ogden Throttles Monticello

Three players scored in double-figures and St. Joseph-Ogden sank nine three-pointers in a 52-23 route of Monticello Thursda night in Illini Prairie Conference high school girl's basketball action from the Sievers Center at Monticello High School.

 

The Trojans drained a trio of threes in each of the first two frames and built their lead to as many as 32 early in the fourth quarter.

 

Addy Martinie scored 12 points to lead all scorers. Taylor Hug scored 11 points, eight came in the second half. Addison Frick scored all ten of her points in the first half. 

 

Jobi Smith led Monticello with nine points and was the Serv Pro of Piatt/DeWitt County Player of the Game.

 

Monticello drops to 7-15 overall. They return to action Monday hosting Rantoul Hear Monday's action on 95.9 FM WEZC and online at dewittdailynews.com.
