The Tuscola Warriors held off the Clinton Maroons 39-35 in Central Illinois Conference high school boy's basketball action Friday night in Tuscola.

Clinton led 10-5 after the first quarter but the Warriors rebounded to take an 18-13 lead into the intermission. 

Maroons juniors Dawson Graves and Brooks Cluver were the only players to reach double figures with 10 points apiece. Mason Walker added eight points and Colton Walker scored six points. 

Kam Sweetnam and Jordan Quinn had eight points apiece for the Warriors. Tuscola moves to 17-3 overall and 3-1 in the  CIC. 

The Maroons drop to 18-6 and suffer their first conference loss to go to 3-1. 

Clinton hosts Edinburg Monday night at 7:30 pm.
