Latest High School Basketball Rankings

Decatur LSA, Prairie Central, St. Joseph-Ogden, Metamora, Decatur MacArthur, and Springfield Sacred Griffin are among the teams in the latest high school basketball top 10 boys' basketball polls. 

 

Prairie Central and Columbia swapped spots for no. 2 and no. 3, respectively, in the latest Class 2A high school boy's basketball poll.

 

Prairie Central was dropped by Tuetopolis Saturday, who re-enters this week's rankings at no. 8. 

 

Princeton is the top team in Class 2A this week. St. Joseph-Ogden moves up a spot to No. 7 and Pontiac dropped to No. 10 this week from no. 9 last week giving the Illini Prairie Conference three teams in the top 10 of the polls this week and Bloomington Central Catholic received votes this week.

 

Decatur LSA remains No. 2 in the latest Class 1A poll. Jacksonville Routt remains No. 1 overall followed by Altamont, Centralia Christ Our Rock, and Waterloo Gibault. 

 

Tuscola and Lexington received votes in this week's poll.

 

In Class 3A, Chicago Simeon remains No. 1 overall followed by Metamora, Hillcrest, Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin, and Decatur MacArthur. 

 

Mt. Zion just missed this week's top 10.

 

Benet Academy is the unanimous No. 1 in Class 4A after being ranked No. 3 last week. Last week's No. 1 - Chicago Whitney Young - dropped to No. 5 this week. 

 

In the girl's high school basketball rankings, Tuscola remains No. 2 in this week's poll in Class 1A. Galena is No. 1 and after Tuscola, Okawville, Brown County and Mendon Unity round out the top 5. 

 

In Class 2A, Quincy Notre Dame is the unanimous No. 1. Dee-Mack enters this week's 2A rankings coming in at No. 7.

 

In Class 3A, Lincoln moved up a spot to No. 2, receiving a first-place vote. Nazareth is No. 1 and after Lincoln at No. 2, Peoria Central, Peoria Notre Dame, and Washington round out the top 5.

 

Normal Community moves up a spot to No. 5 in the Class 4A polls. Alton is this week's No. 1 in 4A.
