Sunday's Illinois baseball game against Coastal Carolina was canceled due to impending inclement weather and travel plans.

The game will not be rescheduled.

The Fighting Illini will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Indiana State at Illinois Field in the 2023 home opener. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. CT.

The Illinois State baseball team's series finale at Nebraska has been canceled due to cold temperatures expected in Lincoln.

Game time "feels like" temperatures were expected to be in the low 20s. Nebraska won the first two game of the series 8-3 and 12-0.

Illinois State is scheduled to open its home slate with a series against Eastern Illinois on Friday.
