The Monticello girl's softball team will be a very young group coming into the 2023 spring softball season.

It has Coach Lauren Richardson very excited about the future as these are a lot of player she has coached at the junior high level and understand what kind of culture she wants at in the high school program.

According to Coach Richardson, the young players will be leaned on this year. Last year's team was very young and will still be a rather young team this spring.

Asking Coach Richardson what her favorite part of this team is and she feels the grit they bring to the game each day is something that will help them throughout the season.
