The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers left no doubt Thursday afternoon, dispatching Decatur LSA 27-1 in non-conference high school boys' baseball action in Decatur.

AJ Bailey finished 2-for2-2 with a double and an RBI, Landon Smith was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs, while Jackson Fricke went 2-for-2 with two RBIs. 

Clay Aylesworth finished 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Mt. Pulaski, Jaeden Jackson was 2-for-2 with three RBIs, and Eric Cooper went 2-for-4 with four RBIs.

Eric Cooper struck out six in three innings of work for the Hilltoppers. 

The Hilltoppers are 3-1 overall. They travel to Clinton this afternoon.
