The Clinton Maroons fell to the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers by a score of 12-1 on Friday afternoon. Preston Curtis took the loss pitching 1 and 2/3 innings, allowing 7 runs on 6 hits, and walking one. Brock Wilson pitched 4 and 1/3 innings in relief, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 5.

Brooks Cluver went 2 for 3 with a double and Brock Wilson recorded a double.

Evan Cooper took the win for the Hilltoppers pitching 5 complete innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, and striking out 6.

Landon Smith went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles for the Hilltoppers. 

With the loss, the Maroons fall to 1-3.
