Monticello Lady Sages watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-3 loss to Tri-Valley Lady Vikings on Tuesday. 

Reese Patton took the loss for Monticello lasting five innings, allowing nine hits and seven runs while striking out one. Emma Stoerger led the Lady Sages with two hits in four at bats.

Abby Vandiver pitched Tri-Valley to victory. Vandiver surrendered three runs on three hits over five innings, striking out one. Marly Little threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Paige Fessler went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Tri-Valley Varsity Vikings in hits.
