Ike Young fired five innings of one-run ball was backed by another Jacob Trusner long ball as Monticello took down Champaign St. Thomas More 9-2 in Illini Prairie Conference high school boy's baseball Monday in Champaign.

Young struck out six and walked two and allowed just one hit. 

Trusner homered in his second straight game finishing 2-for-3. Eli Craft, Colton Vance, and Logan Chupp finished 2-for-3 for the Sages. Vance and Chupp had RBIs.

Monticello moves to 8-1 overall and travels to Mattoon this afternoon.
