HS Baseball: Champaign Centennial Doubles Up Clinton

A six-run sixth inning and five Maroons errors did in Clinton as Champaign Centennial doubled up Clinton 10-5 in non-conference high school boy's baseball from Champaign Monday afternoon.

 

Colton Walker and Aiden Toohill each collected a pair of hits and Mason Walker doubled.

 

Noah Bass went two innings and allowed three runs and two hits, walking two and striking out one. Brock Wilson took the loss for Clinton firing three innings and allowing five runs, four were earned, on five hits with three walks to three strikeouts. 

 

Toohill allowed five hits and two runs in an inning of relief.

 

Clinton drops to 2-5 overall. They host Warrensburg-Latham this afternoon.
