Monticello outlasted Sullivan in walk-off fashion 11-10 Saturday in non-conference high school softball action from Monticello.

The game need eight innings to complete and Avery Schweitzer's base hit scored the winning run. The Lady Sages need to rally to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning. Marrissa Miller tied the game at 4-4 with a base hit.

Miller paced the Monticello offense finishing 4-for-5. 

Reese Patton followed up a strong shutout performance in Clinton last week going six innings and struck out six to zero walks. She permitted six runs and ten hits.

Schweitzer, Isabella Beery, and Lynnsey Trybom all had multiple hits for Monticello who pounded 15 hits on the game.

The Lady Sages are 6-6 overall. They will travel to Westville on Tuesday.
