The Clinton Lady Maroons broke out the bats and doubled up Cental A&M 8-4 in Central Illinois Conference girl's softball Saturday at Clinton High School.

Mia Kivlehan paced the Lady Maroons offense going 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Alaina Soberalski, Reice McCormick, and Aliviyah Haynes each had a pair of hits. 

Kylee Isaac drove in two at the top of the Lady Maroons order. 

Ashley Armstrong struck out six in seven, four-run innings. She permitted five hits and issued zero walks. She did surrender a pair of home runs.

Clinton goes to 4-11 overall and the win was their first in CIC play, going to 1-5. 

They will host Decatur St. Teresa this afternoon in more CIC action.
