The Monticello Sages took advantage of a wind blowing straight out to center field and blasted Salt Fork with six home runs in a 25-6 rout Wednesday in Catlin.
Luke Teschke and Colton Vance went deep twice, Biniam Lienhart and Raiden Colbert each went yard for the Sages.
Teschke drove in six in a 4-for-5 afternoon. Vance brought home five in a 3-for-5 day at the place. Lienhart added a double and scored five runs finishing 3-for-6.
Kyle Peake doubled, tripled and drove in three finishing 2-for-2.
Ike Young permitted seven runs, five were earned over four innings. He struck out four and walked one.
Salt Fork hit two runs on the afternoon.
The Sages snap a two-game skid and move to 11-3 overall.
