Freshman Cassidee Stoffel had four hits and five RBIs leading the Monticello Lady Sages over Paxton-Buckley-Loda 20-3 in a four-inning, Illini Prairie Conference romp Thursday from Monticello.

Stoffel was a triple short of the cycle finishing 4-for-4 with a home run. Avery Schweitzer and Lynnsee Trybom drove in three runs apiece while Schweitzer and Isa Beery each recorded three hits. 

Stoffel, Schweitzer, Trybom, Beery, and Marrissa Miller all doubled in the victory. Miller and Trybom had stolen bases. 

Stoffel also picked up the win in circle for the Lady Sages. She allowed three runs, two were earned on four hits with a walk, and recorded nine strikeouts. 

Monticello goes to 7-8 and 4-3 in the Illini Prairie Conference. They will travel to Pontiac on Monday.
