HS Softball: Meridian Holds Off Clinton

Trailing 2-0 heading to the top of the sixth, Clinton rallied for five runs to go up 5-2, but the Lady Hawks dropped 11 runs in the bottom half of the fram and held on from another Clinton comeback attempt in the sevent to keep its CIC leading undefeated mark intact.

Aliviyah Haynes doubled and drove in four to pace the Lady Maroons offense. Kylee Isaac was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Alaina Soberalski drove in two for Clinton.

Heidi Humble, Avery Smith and Haynes doubled for Clinton Monday.

The Lady Hawks move to 8-0 in the CIC and are 12-5 overall.
