Marrissa Miller capped a come-from-behind win with a walk-off grand slam as Monticello stunned St. Joseph-Ogden 13-10 in Illini Prairie Conference high school girl's softball action Monday from Monticello.
Miller's grand slam was the second home run of the day and her two home runs were two of five hit by the Lady Sages. Emma Stoerger, Lynnsey Trybom and Sadie Walsh all went deep.
Miller drove in a game-high five runs and scored three times. Trybom finished 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored.
The Lady Sages go to 9-10 overall and 4-4 in the Illini Prairie Conference. They are at Maroa-Forsyth Wednesday afternoon before wrapping up the Illini Prairie Conference slate Thursday at Rantoul.
