HS Baseball: Cooper's Cycle Leads Mt. Pulaski Past New Berlin

Evan Cooper hit for the cycle and Mt. Pulaski outslugged New Berlin 20-11 in a non-conference win in high school baseball action Monday afternoon from Mt. Pulaski.

 

Cooper finished 6-for-6 with five RBIs. Jackson Fricke drove in three runs finishing 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and runs scored.

 

Liam Smith drove in three in a 2-for-5 afternoon for the Hilltoppers who rallied with 13 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. New Berlin entered the frame with an 11-7 lead. 

 

The Hilltoppers go to 21-2 overall. They hit the road for a non-conference matchup with Argenta-Oreana this afternoon.
