A balanced offensive performance paced Heyworth over Blue Ridge 13-3 in non-conference high school girl's softball action from Heyworth Tuesday afternoon.

Macie Toepke homered for the Lady Hornets and scored twice, Emma Slayback and Paylin Williams drove in three runs apiece, and Morgan Kessler finished 4-for-5 with an RBI at the top of the order.

Carsyn Stiger and Carmen Ellis doubled for Blue Ridge. Alexi Wike and Stiger finished 2-for-4. Stiger had a pair of RBIs and Ellie Schlieper went 3-for-3 with an RBI. Ellis was 2-for-3 for the Lady Knights.

Heyworth improves to 15-4 overall.

Blue Ridge is 8-12. They will wait until next week before they return to action traveling to Fisher on Monday.
