Mason Walker legged out an inside-the-park home run and struck out ten in four shutout innings as Clinton beat Central A&M 15-0 in a four-inning, run-rule victory Tuesday at Clinton High School in Central Illinois Conference boy's baseball action.
Walker faced just two batters over the minimum permitting a hit and issued a walk.
Josh Bass smashed two doubles finishing 2-for-4. Brock Wilson had two doubles and finished 3-for-3. Jack Manning was 3-for-4 and Preston Curtis was 3-for-3.
The Maroons go to 8-8 overall and 7-6 in the Central Illinois Conference. They host Argenta-Oreana in non-conference action Wednesday. Hear the action on WHOW and its many online platforms.
