An eight-run first inning propelled Decatur St. Teresa past Clinton 12-2 in five innings of Central Illinois Conference high school baseball Thursday in Decatur.

Billy Guyse tripled and drove in four runs to pace th Bulldogs.

Mason Walker hit a triple for Clinton who committed four errors on the game. 

Brock Wilson permitted ten runs for the Maroons but only six were earned. 

Clinton drops to 9-9 overall and 7-7 in the Central Illinois Conference. The Maroons travel to Maroa on Tuesday.
